The date 9/11 or September 11,2001 is a significant date to a lot of us reading this blog. I am pretty sure each of us have different stories to share of what happened on this date. It can be a happy birthday story, or an exciting wedding story, or it might even be a mournful day because we have lost a loved one when the famous "Twin Towers" in New York collapsed.
I do know I have a story to share you. It is not about the tragedy.... it is about a whole nation I saw that came together looking towards God to find comfort, strength and courage.
My mother and I were separated thousands of miles away on this date and I remember calling her and told her how scared I was and wanting to go home. She instead told me ,"Be strong, be courageous, be faithful and find comfort in God".
On this significant date, I thought to myself, "Yes, we did remember God!" but sadly as the succeeding days, months and years pass by....did we ever continued to do it?
It seems that only in bad days to we remember God and when things become better we go our own ways.
