To all of you reading this, I want you to meet Rebecca.
Rebecca was born January 12,1934. She was the second child of Pedro and Alejandria. Born and raised in the island of Antique, Philippines.
She was an alumnus of Philippine Union College School of Nursing 1958. Rebecca worked her way to school since her parents could not afford to pay for her tuition. She was determined to finish her degree.... and she did!
For almost thirty plus years, she dedicated her work as a nurse in various departments in Manila Adventist Medical Center. It is also the place where she stayed for almost 3 months before passing away due to brain tumor.
Her hospital bill totalled to a million Philippine pesos but because of the support of family and friends we were able to gather finances to pay some of her medical bills. So this year, our remaining balance is 400,000 Philippine pesos, or the equivalent in US currency is $10,000.00
This is the reason why Rebecca's Jar was made, to be able to raise funds for her hospital bill every year until the goal has been reached. We made an associate store with Amazon.Com selling the things Rebecca loved to sell. These are bags, shoes and books.
And for every purchase you make the comission will go 100% to Rebecca's Jar. And if by chance you would like to donate any amount, you can still do so by just clicking the "donate" button. For whatever amount you feel you would like to help is much appreciated.

Thank you so much to everyone who visits this site, we appreciate it very much.
